But just throwing it out there after I remember fin saying he was finding benefits from taking a higher 10g leading up to his fight.

In all honestly, I plan on doing the same. Assuming I stay injury free (crosses fingers), I plan on competing in June. As of right now, I'm seriously thinking of upping my BA dosage considerably 3-5 days out.

Define considerably.

3-5 days out of the fight date?
Wouldn't it be better to up the dosage say 14-21 days out?

Probably ~10grams. That would be nearly double of what I'm taking now so I consider that a considerable increase.

Ya

Hmm... maybe. I haven't really looked into that much yet. The thing is that I believe BA works through a saturation effect. So as long as I'm taking it everyday at ~5g, I don't see the need to load that far out. But honestly, I'm not sure it would matter at all anyway. Right now I'm thinking, what the hell... it can't hurt and if it gives me a 1% edge, cool, if it doesn't, no big deal. I may change my mind as the fight draws near... but just saying that's what I would do right now. But either way, I don't see the impact being that significant.

Yeah, upon writing it I was wondering about saturation but thought I'd leave it in

Ya, I really don't know. Maybe others will chime in with their views. It's quite possible my mind will change before I need to worry about it. BA is still a very new thing in sports performance.

Seems the only "potential" indicator of saturation is the parathesia, and that's based on nothing but speculation. There just isn't enough written or researched about BA yet. But I can't see why taking up to 10g a day wouldn't work either, especially when we don't know the ceiling of saturation.

The tingle thing seems weird to me. I got slight tingles maybe the first 2-3 days but after that... nothing. I always put 5 grams in my WO shake and I never feel a thing. It's also REALLY hard to judge if it's actually improving my endurance as well. I'm betting that it is, due to the positive studies... but honestly, I can't fucking tell
