I enjoy this stuff, it's not much of a benefit but I find my recovery time has increased, but that's about it, and only marginally.

Still, worth it for the price. I'm dosing at 5grams/day at a bodyweight of 200lb. Thankfully the tingling sensation never occurs anymore, went away after the first week. I take it with my morning glass of OJ but I honestly cannot tell a difference since I started doing that.

It actually has more to do with not getting shit from the wife for "having more godamn containers using up space in the pantry" than anything.

GNC's Mega Creatine Extreme has beta alanine in it. I almost never buy into the hype about supplements but I have taken creatine on and off for a few years now. I stumbled onto an article about beta alanine a while back and I decided to buy the mega creatine extreme because it had beta alanine in it. It only has 1 gram of beta alanine but I swear my grappling and training performance is better when I'm taking it.

I took my first dose about two hours ago. The tingling is so incredibly strange. It's like wearing an itchy wool sweater ALL OVER.

One of my fellow firetenders tried some mine and described it as "spiders crawling out from inside her skin."

She hot?

*slaps knee*

I'm definitely seeing increased volume and less fatigue. This might be placebo effect, but damn is it strong placebo effect. Time's now my limiting factor in the gym.

shrug, volume in the short term can be due to a variety of reasons

EDIT:
Really, I'm just being a skeptic, since it *is* a trial. Since my trip, I've been keeping things pretty consistent, though I am gaining some weight, but that shouldn't have a huge effect on volume.

I've got about another 2 weeks of b-a at my current rate of consumption (5g daily). If I maintain this level of work going into that last week, I'll go ahead and buy more. Currently, I'm shopping for a brand, since BulkNutrition's house brand, 1fast400, is kinda meh to me. Any suggestions? I know TrueProtein also makes some, and Ultimate Nutrition has come out with it in pill form. $10 for a ~1 month supply isn't bad for pills.
