I have only noticed an effect at sets above 15 reps or so. On the whole though, I have been able to handle a higher volume in each workout. Flipping back through my lifting journal seems to confirm this. It's not dramatic, but enough to make me convinced there is more than just placebo going on. Try some drop sets, that is where I have really noticed a "wow that was easier than before" feeling.

I'm 100% going to, but I'm just waiting for my protein to run low so I can order a few things at once from TrueProtein.

I'm waiting for my boss to get it in, because then I get a free bottle.

KK,

What product will your GNC stock? I believe Primaforce has added Beta-Alanine and plain BCAA to their lineup.

Corporate? Probably the Pro Performance product that's coming out. But I'm not sure what quality that will be if any. We're looking for a more reliable brand that already has a well-established reputation, as well as a product containing enough BA to do the job.

its easier just to buy it in bulk powder imo, but if you are getting it free thats a different story.

I'm about two weeks in, and I love this stuff. I've recently began to train for MMA seriously, so I've been doing 1 1/2 to 4 hours a day of exercise. I feel fine. This stuff is a blessing, especially on sprint days, conditioning days, etc. It helps some during the exercise itself, but the real benefit, for me anyway, is that my muscles feel fresh after only a couple of minutes of rest. Here is my training log. You can see the difference in my workouts quite easily as far as volume and impressions. http://www.sherdog.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=49

As far as appearance, the definition in my shoulders is much more pronounced, chest, legs, and upper back as well. I can't say for sure it was the BA, as I recently added a few new exercises into my regimen that deal with those areas.

The skin thing still creeps me out. It feels kind of like your foot has fallen asleep slightly, but its your whole body. Took some getting used to, but as others have said, I welcome it now.

I've had the most success with splitting it up into one teaspoon before a light exercise session and one tablespoon before an intense session (I usually work out twice a day, and the intense session is sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening). I always carb load it with V8 Fusion juice.

So far, I give this stuff an A++

Considering the shelf life of powdered protein, does it really matter if you wait for your current stock to run low before ordering?

LoL, I just want more people to try it before I jump in... I'm curious as hell to hear Art's outcome. It appears that he never has a placebo effect...
