I ordered some from True Protein. I'll be able to start taking it halfway through the first phase of the Smolov Squat Cycle. I'll be taking it with Creatine Monohydrate as well.

First week down. The first time I dosed my skin felt like electricity and it freaked me the fuck out, since then I get mild tingles that are kind of fun now that I know I'm not about to shoot lightning out of my skin. Using a 6/12/25 rep scheme for my big assistance exercise on my heavy upper/lower days to put myself in a situation where it's affects will be apparent. So far, all positives. Especially in that last leg of 25 reps, what was once lactic burn hell is now easily manageable. Pushing up the weight next week.

Yeah, I finally experienced the unpleasant tingling sensations. After dosing ~2.5g BA with carbs and BCAA, it felt like ants crawling on my ass and ears while rolling.

At present I can offer no positive or negative feedback concerning performance, at ~2 weeks.
Like creatine, the research is sufficient for my continued use regardless of personal opinion, until the science changes.

At between 2.5 and 5g daily at 178, I have yet to report any significant endurance gains. Perhaps my carnosine stores were depleted prior to supplementation and are being built up, or I just need more time.

I will be doing a lifting session today that may offer better insight.
