I bought GN 2 a few months ago and have been eating at least 2-3 recipes a day from it. Thanks to the guys here on this forum for recommending it. I came from doing the Zone, where I plateaued on weight loss, and started dropping weight again. Berardi is on my list of mancrushes for sure.

Strawberry Coconut Pudding p232 rocks. with or without coconut milk (can sub LF milk). any frozen fruit works well.

I just made Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal p44 and it rocks.

I'm making a bunch of stuff in the next few days so I will be reviewing them here. My short list is the following:

Banana Cream Pie Oatmeal p42
Turkey Sausage and Yam Hash Browns p58
Stir Fry Beef p86
Mediterranean Salad with Beef p108
Sweet Balsamic Cherry Tomatoes p192
Sauteed Spinach with Roasted Garlic p194
Coconut Cauliflower Mash p196
Chickpea Cakes p212
Banana Nut Squares p218
Pumpkin Pie Bars p220
Peanut Crunch Bars p222
Gooey Chocolate Chip Muffins p224
Greek Vinaigrette p246
Yummy Hummus p262
Tropical Fruit Salsa p264

Will letya know how it goes.

When I was eating oatmeal, I have to admit, the pumpkin pie recipe did rock. I haven't tried a lot of the baking or dessert recipes, but the strawberry coconut pudding sounds wicked.

Looking forward to hearing your reviews, Fight Song.

quick question-- is y'all's coconut milk solid somewhat similar to whipped cream? i remember coconut milk having a milky consistency... consistent with... milk.

i choose those recipes baked on the food i have on stock right now. as i get more stuff, i will be onto just about everything else.

once i have tackled 90% of the book, i will be ready to complain that PN/JB needs to release a new book.

you know, if JB opened a legitimate health-themed restaurant, it would own.

Looks like I'll be ordering one of these for myself and a few for friends and family. Thanks for the link and recommendations.
