I thinking of getting this book. I've tried the Coconut Cauliflower Mash, and Spaghetti Squash recipes. I messed up a bit on the CCM recipe, but it still tasted a good. I never heard of the Spaghetti Squash before, and I'm now a fan.

By the way, there are sample recipes on his t-nation article at http://www.t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=1857956

Also, if you go to official website for the book, linked on the t-nation article, you can download a a sneak preview of the book (you can see every recipe in the book).

Coconut Cauliflower Mash - Anytime meal 2 min Prep, 15 min Cook time.

Ingredients
Cauliflower, rough chopped - 3 cups
Cashews, crushed - 1/4 cup
Coconut milk - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 pinch
Pepper - 1 pinch
Cinnamon - 1 pinch

Instructions

Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and cover with a tight fitting lid. Simmer for 15 minutes and then remove from heat. Puree in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time if necessary to get the mixture moving. Serves 1 large of 2 small.

Nutritional Info (for large serving. Half for small)

Cal 409.4
Fat 27.3
Sat 13.3
Mono 8.6
Poly 2.8
O3 0.0
O6 2.8
Carbs 27.8
Fiber 8.6
sugars 9.2
Protein 13.3

The texture was almost EXACTLY like mashed potatoes; The serving size was enough for both myself and my wife, and there's still some leftover.

Here's a snapshot of the above recipe:

After trying out a few of the recipes, I have to say this is probably one of thee best cookbooks I have ever seen, and it totally follows Berardi's rules(obviously). I tried out the Tomato Salmon Scramble this morning, and it rocked, too. There's some great egg recipes for breakfast, and some of the oatmeal ones look incredible(although all are PW).

No question in my mind, 5 out of 5
this reminds me of Gordon Ramsay's coliflower soup but with coconut milk instead of cow milk, interesting.

I ordered mine yesterday. It should be at my doorstep middle of this week. I'm gonna be doing a lot of cooking next weekend.

I'm expecting mine in this afternoon

While I was waiting, I tried the recipe for the "Texas Thin Crust Pizza" that was on the sample section of the Gourmet Nutrition website

http://gourmetnutrition.com/sample.pdf

I substituted the 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes with a few teaspoons of tomato sauce

I really enjoyed it, the BBQ sauce mixed with the tomatoes and red peppers was a really interesting and delicious combination

Ill give someone $5 to type the whole thing out for us.. 50$ for a cookbook is excessive.

I have to admit though, the recipe's do sound appealing.

Oh and i have had Mashed Cauliflower before - it is astounding how close to mashed taters it can taste.. Crazy...

That's one I want to try next. I love pizza, but I'm not keen on chowing down on all that dough.

I would definitely reccomend Berardi's recipe to anyone trying to curb a pizza craving. I think you could get away with using less than the 6 ounces of ground beef Berardi suggests, I had quite a bit left over and I piled the beef on.

If the rest of the recipe's in Gourmet Nutrition are even half as good as the pizza, it'll be well worth the price of the book
