Just made the cauliflower mash. Was nice but i had to alter the recipe a bit. Had to stick in half a cup of coconut milk and keep adding water as it kept sticking to the pan. Anyone else find this? The extra milk makes it really tasty but does contain about 35g saturated fat if you have the large serving!

Did you guys boil the cauli first? 1/4 cup of liquid was way to low when i tried to boil it all at the same time.

In GN1, they had you boil the cauli, then rough chop and throw it in a blender. I haven't looked at the GN2 version but I intend on making it tonight so I will let you know.

I made the Yummy Hummus and Tzatziki this morning. Both are really good. Too bad they go the best over a carb-loaded meal.

I will be making a bunch of the bars and such tonight. I am missing some protein powers though, so we'll see.

No. The recipe worked fine for me without modifying it. I use a portable hand mixer to mash it once it's cooked. No need to add water with this method.

Finally...I got the book. Tonight for dinner, I am going to make the Classy Chicken on Pg. 124. Tomorrow for breakfast I am having the Pumpkin pie Oatmeal on Pg. 44. Snack later that day will be Pumpkin Pie Bars on Pg. 220. Then having the Pesto Chicken Pizza as a later meal from Pg. 126. I have to figure out my other meals.

I was a little underwhelmed by the Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal. I might just need to make some adjustments, as I didn't sweeten it very much. The turkey sausage/yam hash browns are absolutely unbelievable

I just had the Classy Chicken. I thought it was yummy...maybe I needed a bit more cheese and more broccoli.
It had alot of flavors that blended well. I especially like the peach in it. It gave a nice touch of sweetness to the dish.
Overall, I thought it was good. I even had 2nds.

How much splenda did you put in it? It doesnt give you a measurement to start off with. So im wondering how much you used because I am making this tomorrow. 1/2 tspn? 1 tspn?
Thanks!

Just got my copy in the mail today. Incredibly fast shipping as I ordered it last THURSDAY!

I'm now going to spend the rest of my day making food.
