berardi 7 habits

in the 7 habits it says no carbs except fruits or veg and pwo. does that mean toast for breakfast with my eggs is out?? what bout bran flakes or oats is that out too??! so basically the only thing ur allowed for breakfast is eggs rite?
it also says no drinks with calories, what bout orange juice with my breakfast and in afternoon? is that out aswell?
and at last if u dont workout sat/sun does that mean that ur not allowed carbs watsoever except fruits and veg?
what bout alcohol sat nite?!!
i dont know but that program to follow everyday of ur life sounds pretty harsh

And oj is little more than sugar water with vitman c. There's a reason diabetics have to be careful with it. You'd be better off eating an orange and drinking some water... or make an orange smoothie (YAY VITAMIX!)

To each his own. Don't aply the 7 habits textbook like. It is a general basis, but each person is an individual. If you like your eggs with toast or an orange juice, then fine if you feel good and follow the fundamental principles. Eating healthy is not like being on a strict diet for your whole life. You won't sustain it if you stop eating what you like all together. The key to a lasting change of your habits and thus a better life is to mix your prefered food with the principles laid down by Berardi. For some folks it is even a wonderful start to go to a market, buy fresh veggies and prepare a meal by yourself. The "modern" society is always on the run never able to take time for a self-cooked meal. Processed food is the rule and not the exception.
