Zma
How old do you have to be to take ZMA? I'm 17 and bought Adam's from Now yesterday but just went whondering if it does some harm to me, some of the % of daily values on it just seemed ridicilus and i peed neon green after taking them yesterday.

I always take ZMA before bed, so I'm not sure how it effects my urine color. If my pee is neon green first thing in the morning, well that's normal.
I'm no expert, but I don't think there's any particular reason why you can't take ZMA at the age of 17. Although you're so full of test right now it might not even be neccessary.
(It's worth it just for the freaky dreams, though )

What I meant was that in your teenage years, your testosterone levels are higher than at any other time of your life, henc there may not be a need to boost it.
Also they say many athletes are deficient in zinc, so it may not be a bad idea on that front.

IMO you're too young to be worrying about zma, or any other supps for that matter (except whey). Enjoy you're naturally high ****bolism and eats lots of good food, plenty of time for supps later on.

I disagree to an extent. I think ZMA isn't a bad one to be taking regardless. What's wrong with getting more zinc, magnesium and B vitamins, especially if he's an athlete? Also, I wouldn't think there's anything wrong with a 17 y/o taking fish oil or a good multi-vitamin either.
I do agree in the sense that he doesn't need a giant mixing bowl full of supps that he takes on a daily basis, but supplementing certain things are not all that bad are they?

Supplementation depends solely on what a person is getting or not getting from food, period. Not age. A person of 17 can be eating like shit, or not have access to a wide variety of food to cover nutritional needs that apply to level of physical activity, and depriving oneself of said nutrients because of a SINGLE year from idealistic childhood to adulthood, is just plain silly.
That said, ZMA doesn't increase testosterone anyway. So that's a non-factor.

hey agreed, I was talking more about the hydroxycuts and no-explodes of the world. ZMA increases acne, I had breakouts when i tried it in my early 20's, I'm not sure it's worth dealing with. It just seems that the ts is worried about the supp and imo, should just not take it. What's the use of trying to boost ur test when ur at an age where ur hormones are raging anyways? Like i said, plenty of time to stress about supps later, enjoy the progress that youth provides naturally.
