In a pinch, I do like Kicking Horse; whatever they do at the time of package, the beans always seem to be damn fresh, even from sitting on the shelf in Safeway for who knows how long.

I don't buy kicking horse. I like thinking my coffee beans were picked by 6 year old laborers somewhere else in the world. It just makes them taste better.

Eggs and Flax Oil.
The folks at PN with JB et al are always throwing away yolks and using flax oil in meals. I'm a yolk-eater, but I just don't see why the yolks are getting wasted. Sometimes a recipe doesn't need the yolk.. but still.....
Flax oil, I don't see anything really against it, just that seeds are better, but not always optimal for a recipe.

It's the pain-laced sweat from their hands, soaking into the beans.

Other than quinoa, and carrots looks like I'm doing alright
I've been eating more sushi, than just plain wild salmon though.

There are also times where you just want a lot of good n-3 fats apart from the volume of flax seeds. Flax oil is great there, just gotta be delicate with it.
I like to ignore the PN advice of using one n-3 egg and a bunch of whites. Cheaper to just buy another dozen eggs than get egg whites in a carton. More good stuff, too. Unless it's some dessert recipe, then I just use the yolks elsewhere, like an egg yolk omelette which looks neon yellow and dangerous.

I found this odd as well. This was pointed on his site in the comments, and he later corrected himself
Here is what he said:

"It’s 9000mg fish oil, not EPA or DHA correct."
