I don't know about that man, veggies are almost entirely carbohydrate with little fat and protein. Most are just lower calories and lower glycemic. I think it should be changed to moderate carbohydrate consumption or starchy carbohydrate comsumption only directly after training.

Not only did I state where the original was from, I stated the authors name. Plus, if you actually look at some of the links in the text, it links directly back to Stronglifts.

On a different note, I really don't like this "carbs PWO only". If you're cutting serious weight then that might be good advice, but normally for hard training athletes, this would kill you. I think there's a disconnect between the body-building types and the actual athletes, and unfortunately much print and online material is aimed to snag both of them, so one ends up getting screwed. If you're working out hard (read: not just weights) at least once a day, 6 days a week, you need more carbs than just some gatorade right after you finish.

Agreed. I noticed no real change in body composition when I add in some whole grain bread with my lunchtime meal (still eating every 2 or 3 hours), but I am a lot less pissy.

Maybe you should stop buying the shitty 120/180 pills, nancy.
Actually. I agree, 9g is a bit excessive.
Nice work, Mike, but you should include a link to the full article.

Oh, fuck yes. I'm pretty sure my genetics have adapted so that it's actually an essential nutrient involved in over thousands of enzymatic reactions throughout my body.
Seriously, without it, I'd die.

The local small time coffee and tea place staff know me by name I'm there so often.

Sweet; there's nothing like picking up freshly roasted beans from your choice of region.
In a pinch, I do like Kicking Horse; whatever they do at the time of package, the beans always seem to be damn fresh, even from sitting on the shelf in Safeway for who knows how long.
