Your Resting Heart Rate?

What is your resting heart rate currently?, just curious.

I checked mine yesterday and it was 60, which I'm quite happy with that at this point but I'm looking to get it lower. I have been doing a lot more LSD work recently, I can't say if it has made a big difference as I didn't know what my heart rate previously was but I suspect it did. Obviously like a lot of people on here, I was influenced by Joel's (EZA) threads.

Edit - 60, not 61.

61. (no edit needed) lol When do you check it? I check mine in the morning after going to the bathroom. I just lay back down for 2 minutes and get the average.

I read that somewhere else as well. I also read that holding your pee can increase your rhr. But, I'll try your way too. The average over a few days is probably the best way.

I read that Joel (EZA) measures his fighters rhr sitting down before a workout. I could be wrong about that.

Kind of went tits a few months back and stopped training, its up at 74 at the moment. Back training now (for about two weeks) so hopefully it'll go in the right direction. Had it at 60 previously.
