wrist injury..train or not?

so i injured my wrist from hitting the bag yesterday, i learned my lesson no matter what use hand wraps. Before i get flammed, dont worry i know go to a doctor.bllblalba..just waiting for my mom to arrive. Im just wondering what i can do to make it feel better. Im also just wondering if its still possible to train.

a. how to treat it? ive been putting ice packs every night, and i duno if i SHOULD be doing this, but should i stretch it around? it hurts when i bend my wrist back and forward, actually, my wrist kinda does hurt typing this post. From my shoulder injury i was told to stretch it..so i was wondering if this was the same with my wrist. I know go to a doctor, but my moms out of the country, so till then im gona go with ur advice.

b. can i still work out? i figure theres no way i can do bench press bicep curls and shoulder press, but what if i use the smith machine? i notice it doesnt really hurt, if i do excercises put my wrist in vertical position. like rows, machine press, etc. So is it ok if i still workout ? or shoud i TOTALLy rest it?

I'd rest it until you hear otherwise from a doctor. Might as well heal it completely.

Just rest and wait to hear from the doctor.

massage it, cold & hot water, wrist movements (up, down, left, right) you can also grab your wrist with your thumb and middle finger and separate the bone a bit and extand your hand away from you then to your chest for 5 reps or so to get some nutrients in.
