Would this be a good pre wrestling season conditioning/strength training workout?

Ok start off by warming up and stretch. Then start running around my block 4 times. I think its about 1 1/2 miles or lil more. Then go inside my house and do this exercise with my barbells http://youtube.com/watch?v=nMZxGbUPN4o with about 10 pound weights (i only weigh 121ish pounds). Do that for three sets and for one minute breaks in between. And during the one minute break run up and down stairs. After that do some sprints 4 times then a minute break then 3 times and so forth to 1 time (back and forth equals one sprint) And one minute break time between them. And while during the break time doing pushups. And the distance would probably be about 70 ft. Then finally to cool off go around the block once. And stretch.

Would this workout be good for wrestling?

p.s. Im 15 and this will be my second year wrestling. And im going to wrestle 119

Because the weight training will fuck you and leave you no energy to sprint properly

Hows that

Try some of Ross Enamait's workouts, and get yourself a few sandbags - much better for wrestling.

Save your pocket money, get a bus to your nearest DIY shop or builders merchant, pick up a 50lb bag. That's a great workout right there. Hell, go dig up some soil and put it in an old sack. Anything.

Trust me there's nothing better for hardcore conditioning/endurance drills than a sandbag.

thanks i'll try that when i get a chance. But how is my workout regimen so far. Is there anything i should put in or take out and why.

I just tryed to this workout and couldnt finish it really hard for me im really out of shape. I couldnt do the pushups inbetween the sprints or run up and down the stairs. And had ot stop after one lap around my neighborhood beause i got a bad cramp. I guess i shouldnt have ate all that spaggetti before doing this. I took about like half an hour and took a shit before tryin this

P.S. How long should i wait after i eat to do this workout?
