When will Kidney Pain go away?

Yesterday morning, while horsing around, a friend of mine punched me in both kidneys. I was a little sore than. The pain has since gotten worse. I just took 2 Ibuprofen which relieved the pain a little , but it will wear off.

They weren't hard punches, they were light taps. The problem is that I am not a fighter. In fact, I not very fit at all.

I have some questions?

1 - When will the pain go away, and will it get worse.

2 - Is something wrong with me - should these very light punches be causing me pain the next day?

3 - My friend tells me that I am in pain because there is too much salt in my diet. Is there any validity to this.

By the way - If my friendly assailant hit me as part of a conspiracy to find out my Sherdog screen name, you are very clever indeed.

1. How does he punch you in both kidneys?

2. I had a briused kidney and pissed blood for a day. It never really hurt. It just felt weak and slushy like your intestines do when you have the Hershey squirts.

Is your pee red? Go to a doctor.

You could have a bruised abdomen.
