What would happen if...

A relatively out of shape guy does 100 burpees every day for a month. The burpees are done in under 30 minutes (Weak heart), with a full push-up and jump on each burpee.

By "What would happen" I mean would there be any noticeable increase in muscle endurance/growth.

Dumb question, I know. I'm just curious.

To be honest I don't think the average out of shape person could do 100 full burpees in 30 minutes.

lol, agreed.

Maybe the first day, but then he'd be sore for a week.

Eventually, after he can start to do them consinuously, it would be ok.

Remove thyself.

What'd happen? Fatty dimbulb would burn out and/or end up injured in some way probably entailing anterior shoulder pain, having garnered about as much athletic benefit from his wrongheaded routine as mental effort he put into conceiving it.

Out of shape guy wouldn't finish the 100 burpees. I think either his arms or legs would give way or he'd just straight forward gas out.

He'd be better off just trying to do burpees for 30 minutes at a reasonable pace. Of course he'd be better off doing a lot of other things too. This is a stupid question to begin with if you don't take diet into consideration. If he does 100 burpees and then eats like crap he will improve his cardio but won't lose any weight.

The fat ass would probably find some way to slack and do the burpees in as long of a time as possible. He'd still be sore and try to figure out another way to skip out on putting in any real work or effort in designing a workout.
