what to do is the question!?

ok basically, as ive mentioned before, im about 5`7, lol, and over the past couple years ive got my weight down from 17.6 stone to 11.8 stone . (246lbs(?) to 165lbs (?) ) .

i got another stone to loose i think before im kinda slim, i know however my stocky build is gonna mean ill proberly never b slim-jim. anyways, my plan has always been to get slim, then build up my abs and my muscle again (i used to av some pretty big arms, still bigger than average). but my question is is that the correct way to do it? loose all my flabby bits before lifting again, etc? its just my prob is that before wen i was fat i used to lift quite a bit, so im havin probs gettin rid of me man boobs, like now, my chest sticks out, lol, and its being a fucker to get the last stone off, stupid chest. it is for this reason i dont want to lift too early again, also, how do u know when u are slim enough to work abs? i know i could now, but i dont wanna waste my time, and i dont really wanna "chuck gut" if u get wot i mean.and i dont wanna do loads of push ups ans shit if it means my chest will keep just gettin bigger, but still have a fat layer, so i just look like a lil fat dude.

Don't pay too much attention to the scale. If you do want to improve your appearance don't focus too much on doing one before the other. If you're trying to shed excess body fat you SHOULD be lifting and doing cardio. Have a well rounded training routine and a sound diet.

Dude reading your sig i should stab you for this, probably in the hand so you don't write crap like this again.

Lift and work your abs.

Lifting burns calories and also builds muscle, and guess what part of the body burns calories... your muscles. The more muscle you have the easier it is to loose fat, so hit the gym. Work your "abs" their important for overall strength and balance and a plus is girls do love them. Sure sit ups are not going to remove "belly fat" like the commercials say but its not going to hurt you by having a strong midsection.

Great results BTW bud

Lift heavy weights (or do BW exercises), do core work, do high intensity cardio (ie: run hill sprints, do burpees, use the tabata method, etc), eat less calories than you burn.
