I think you mean water weight, not water fat. The best way to get rid of water weight is to drink water...sounds weird, but it is a proven method. Drink around 1-1/2 gallons of water a day...within 2 weeks, I gaurantee that your water weight will be almost all gone.

Well odds are the main problem you have is fat, that can be corrected with diet.

If your holding excess water best thing to do is find out why, alot of people have big water retention problems from creatine, others have problems with sodium. Do you use creatine or have a relativly high sodium diet?

Try a few runs with a sweatshirt on, couple good sweats and you should be alright.

your body retains water when there is a shortage of it. basically when your body is getting adequate or more than adequate amounts of water, it flushes out water in your urine instead of recycling it back into your body. if you arnt drinkin enough water, your body will retain excess water due to the shortage. as has been said, creatine, sodium etc could also be the cause or contribute to water retention.
