weight vest exercises??

I was wondering if anyone had some weighted vest exercises i can add to my routine?
The ones im adding next week are dips, pull ups and push ups.
Anyone have anything else?

Also kind of similar question. How far out from a fight would you stop doing these types of exercises?

The best thing for the weight vest is step mill work ala firefighters..

yeah im sure there are some FFs here but I think running step mill (or stairs) is the main endurance exercise of CPAT etc.

My old gym had a step mill it was badass.

Ab roller.I tired mine with hill running the other day and really liked it.

I would drop just about all resistance work a week before a fight.

basically anything you can do with bodyweight you can do with a weight vest

all chinup variations
pushups and variations
squats and variations (also lunges)
running up and down stairs
jump ropes brutal with a vest
hill sprints
burpees
dips and variations
and probably the most brutal: muscle ups

I wouldn't run with a heavy weight vest unless you hate your knees and spine and want to punish them. I do use a weight vest for stairs. Stair machines are good, easy on the knees, but in no way as hard as actually climbing stairs.

stair lunges are good too, try walking up a flight of stairs skipping every second step, or third if your tall.

Hill sprinting and distance running with a vest on are two totally different things.
