warm up

Currently on day 18 Ross Infinite Intensity. Had a brief shoulder pain beneath acromium after doing burpees without a warmup. They were modified with full push up. What warm ups do you guys/gals do before conditioning exercises. Seems I've been too impatient and subjectively Hurried to get into the program and skip the warm up>>> Bad!!!!!!!!

I don't like burpees for the reason of shoulder injuries - I've felt something pop a couple of times when dropping into the push-up position.

Warm up is of course dependant on whatever it is you're warming up for, but generally I reckon you can't beat barbell/sandbag complexes to get the blood pumping and the joints lubed.
