Waist Line (CUTS)

I was wondering what do i need to do to get the waist line.. I have seen almost every fighter has that.. if you are not sure what im talking about check this



How you get those cuts (The lines on each sides on waistline).

Not sure if you are for real or not, but I'll give a serious answer.

Have a lowish bf%.
Have a strong core from general training. There isn't a secret exercize.
At weigh ins, the fighters are dehydrated and standing under lights that hit from directly above which creates shadows.

there was a gayer thread in the S&P, whos got the best back in MMA, the op was threatened by Lusst or Smashy? mind you he didn't supply a picture so I don't know

I always get a kick out of people who have weigh in photos of their favorite fighter in their undies for their av. How homoerotic is that?

on a serious note - heavy barbell work in general, particularly exercises which work the hips/core region

eg: squats, deadlifts[especially these], bent over rows etc

also - side bends using dumbells are actually designed to hit that particular muscle, so do those along with deads and squats, not to mention any other heavy bb work which requires alot of core stability

hanging leg raise from a bar is decent for this also. or lying leg raises[bascially the same motion, but lying on your back]

be at 12% body fat for them to start to show. lower body fat it if you like to look in the mirror.

Train your abdomen as you train everything. If you are going to be dysmorphic, make sure you have everything. And yes, this is gay.

The big question is why train ONLY for looks. People like fat people if they are cool. They will like you as well. If you are not getting action from ladies, it might not be helped by prominent obliques. The cool ladies will figure out you are weak. If you focus on appearance without improving character, smarts.... you are headed down a dark gayish road.

Train because you like it and because it is healthy.
