VO2 max calculator website

Hi here is a VO2 max calculator website I am confused because it calculates your VO2 max without you entering your weight?

VO2max calculated from a race result

I thought body weight had to be taken into account for vo2 max calculations.

It says my vo2 max is 50 is for a 8 minute 55 second 1.5 miler.
I thought based on another website I used before, that it was around 58. I think I remember 8 min 34 being 60.

that's interesting, thanks for posting it. I looked at some others afterwards that used bodyweight. I guess they are all approximately right and decent as a guide.

I'll take it a step farther--there's no way in hell any website can accurately calculate your VO2 max.
