Very Sore

hi im really really out of shape and have just started training my muscles are very sore and i dont want this to get in the way of my training and slow me down,can you please give me some tips or advice on how to help this and aid recovery,cheers

Get the fuck out of here. This part of the forum is a wonderful exception from the rest where lowlifes do exactly what you are doing: Spam every thread with nonsense in order to ruin it. If you want your daily dosis of spam go to the heavies or OT.

If your muscles hurt, but you can still function fine, then man up and deal with it. If your muscles are so sore that you're having a hard time functioning properly, you need to start off a little slower. The biggest mistake people make in starting off, or maybe just the most common, is to start off too hard and end up so sore they give up after one or two workouts.

What I do when I get sore:
Continue to eat well
Sleep more
Icy Hot/Mineral Ice the soreness
lay down & don't do much
hot showers/baths/hot tub

Consistancy, your simply sore because your not used to it, give it a few weeks of consistant training without going crazy and you will be fine.
