At around the 300th rep the callouses I lost on my right hand started bleeding. At that point I forgot about the time and just focused on finishing. I was aiming for around the 45 minute mark but whatever, I'm pretty please considering that most of the last 100 reps were done with my left hand.
Some things I noticed:
-blood makes dumbells really slippery. I was at the park and lost the bell a few times.
-I wasted a lot of time on the lowering part of the snatch. I was lowering it too slowly.
-as my arms and shoulders fatigued my form got better, I instinctively used more hip snap
-I used dimes to keep track of the reps, every 10 reps I'd throw a dime in my hat.
-Danzig = faster reps "Mother, tell your children not to look my way"
-I took my shirt off afterwards because it was sweaty and bloody and due to the massive pump I had going, 2 chicks watching me actually complemented me. My wife was pissed.
-I'm not gonna wash this shirt, it looks too cool with the blood all over it.
