Tree falls in Chinese master.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeKHSE9wAQA&NR

This guy tries to catch a giant tree.
All I am wondering if he survived. Cause what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, so unless this is a new way of executing people in China, it must be a training method.

Is this an example of why to never do overhead weights to the point of failure?

I saw a huge ass 25ft tree fall down while running in the park last night. Probably because it's so dry and hot lately, the fucking thing gave a crack and a pop then slammed down on to the spot I'd just ran over, taking another tree along with it.

Coincidence?

Wow that's a little spooky. I think I'd head home, pop open a beer, and mull that one over for a while.

Yeah, the experience of being almost smushed did disturb me a little, but it actually served as motivation to not slow down lest another tree pulverise me into a quivering slurry.

And it actually did make a sound. Thus: crack, pop, eeeaargh, schtumph!
