Toilet problem

Hey guys

So i started running, I am okay running long distances on threadmill however now that I try to run in the morning like 6am, I feel like taking a dump after the first 5km. And it just stops me from running i literally have to walk after that to stop that i need to take a crap feeling.

Now I have tried going to the toilet before running but it just keeps happening.

This is a serious post, anyone has any advice on how to stop this from happening?

Jump rope? then you can stop, shit, and go for a run afterward. Honestly this used to happen to me, 10-15 minutes into a run, so I began jumping rope as a "warm up." I could jump rope, take care of business, run and get in a good workout without too much interruption.

Shit Happens.
Sometimes when I run hard for distance I get this.
Like a routine try taking your dump once you wake up.

Also had the same problem but now it's more, I wait 10 mins and I will go, then I can go for a run if I need to.

I could see how running can stimulate the bowels.

I would try taking psyllium at night to see if it allows you to take a good dump in the morning. Psyllium is a high source of fibre that can help regulate bowel movements. Just read the label on whatever pack you get and don't forget to drink plenty of water.

'Runner's bowel' is a major obstacle for many people, and it's not just the shits, but also terrible gut-ache from trapped gas. Depressingly it's still something of an anomaly with no 100% remedy. A lot of runners use immodium plus, but that's not something you want to depend on. Really you just have to time your runs accordingly (pun intended), watch your diet and go by personal trial and error. Protein shakes in particular fuck my guts up, so I never take them during the 5-6 hours beforehand. Starting out with lots of fruit and veg or any high fibre stuff in my belly also tends to result in trouble. I even pay attention to my breathing patterns, postural tension and even how tight I tie the damn drawstring on my pants. Like I said, it's an anomaly.
