Tired all day

Hey guys lately I've been feeling really tired all day. I started a new job about a year ago and it's pretty stressful and I've been yawning a lot and I don't have tons of energy to train and workout.

One of my buddies suggested I might have sleep apnea? Does anyone have this or know anything about it? Thanks guys...

Why does your buddy think you have sleep apnea? Do you snore? Do you feel like you walk up a lot during the night? If you really think you have sleep apnea you should go to a sleep clinic and have an evaluation.

Of course on the other hand it might not be that serious. Do you train a lot? It could be that a busy training schedule mixed with the added stress of a new job is affecting your recovery. Also, high stress will sap your energy and often make it hard to sleep so you feel even more tired. It's really hard to say unless you give more details than "I'm tired and yawn a lot"

Do you drink a lot of caffeine?

I used to have a lot of problems with not being able to sleep and even when I did I was always tired.

Turns out the excessive amounts of caffeine was too much for me to handle.

I cut the caffeine down to early morning and Pre Workout and I feel a lot better.

Other reasons that you can be tired include but are not limited to:

Overtraining
Poor Diet
Depression
Thyroid Problems
Diabetes
Low Blood Sugar/Not eating at regular intervals
Dehydration
Not getting sun/Vitamin D
Boredom/No new stimulus to keep you excited or interested

If you're really overweight sleep apnea could be a factor. If not, it sounds like sleep and nutrition is a big factor. 8 hours of restful sleep/night and quality whole foods no preservatives and lots of colorful fruits and veggies.
