I have thrown up at my Gym before doing the Gaunlet. Starts off with jogging around the gym 2 min, crab walk 2 min, army crawl 2 min, hop 2 min. No break right to 1 push up straight on feet and hop, 2 push ups straight to your feet 2 hops 3 push ups 3 hops repeat till 20. Right to crunches the same way with foot raises, so 1 crunch 1 leg raise 2 crunch 2 leg raises up to 20. Grab 20 lb. kettle bell squats 2 min then curl 2 min. Your break after that is walking to your bag putting on gloves. Then 5 min hitting the bag after that you get a 1 min water break then 3 3 min rounds rolling with all 3 trainers. We have everyones name on the board. Red marker you passed out blue marker threw up and brown you pooped yourself. Ive seen all 3 happen. After you complete the gauntlet without any of the above and your training has been good you get a fight. Most of our fights are at Combat in the cage but we do other events also.

Sarcasm. Want me to include a LMGTY link?

"The lesson today, kids, is: Don’t pound half a Monster energy drink before the work out, on an empty stomach."

IRONFIST: That sounds painful and hopefully rewarding on completion

It's pretty obvious that pounding half of a monster is stupid to do before a workout.

Don't be stupid.

Yea i havent made it through the Gauntlet yet. My first time i was seeing white spots and taking shallow breaths and layed down on the mat before the 3 3min rounds just from the workout. The second time i gassed in the first match and threw up. Im not attempting again till next Saturday.

Also i thought i was in great shape. Have done many classes, i play adult flag football every sunday and do alot of jogging but this does not compare. I am 25 years old 5'10 159 pounds and cut. Has nothing to do with that. I have seen guys that look out of shape complete it. I guess your body has to get used to it. I explain it to my friends and everyone laughs like it sounds easy but its not. The push ups, hops, crunches and leg raises alone are brutal. If you add it up its 210 pushups 210 hops 210 crunches 210 legraises consecutive.

Ha, don't think I will ever get close to touching that.
Preemptive grats if you ever complete it without dying.
