Icon14 Threw up this morning :D

Row 250m
25 Burpees
Row 500m
20 Burpees
Row 750m
15 Burpees
Sit down to row 1000m. Stand up, sit back down. Stand up, walk out side. Throw up.

The lesson today, kids, is: Don’t pound half a Monster energy drink before the work out, on an empty stomach.

Did this work out at 5:00 a.m. Feel freaking great though!

Why do people drink energy drinks? They're terrible for you.

Weird: The diet (Blue can) gives me some pep/pick up. No crash, no dependency or "withdrawals". If I didn't have one this morning, I would have fallen asleep on the rower

agreed i went through a pahse of drinking them before workouts, well just red bull. then i stopped cause i was getting waaayyy to dependent on them. but ever drink a redline??? thats a heart attack in a bottle. it says to only drink half the bottle. i drank the whole thing and felt like i was gonna have a heart attack. i had the jitters so bad, my whole workout was out the window! perhaps thats what i get for not reading the bottle before drinking it...

Tomorrow will be another 5:00 a.m. work out. But this time, it will be different.

Going to get up at 4:00, have some breakfast. Still debating on what I should eat. And just rock the water before, during, and after the work out.

Hope I don't puke

Energy drinks without sugar aren't that bad. I'm not saying that they are good for you but by the same token I don't think it's the end of the world if you need a quick caffeine fix and have one. They act as a CNS stimulant and have other uses in relation to thermogenics and more.

Of course, having a fizzy drink probably isn't the best thing to do just after you wake up! haha - stick to coffee.

Bragging about throwing up = stupid.

Your body throws up for a reason. And it's not a good one.

Huh, didn't know I was bragging. Weird.

I think my post was more of a light hearted warning/story.

Can you read everyone's thoughts, or just mine?
