Taking Shots

Besides senslessly beating myself, what are some good excercises to train my body to take shots (punches, kicks, elbows, knees, w/e). Both physical and mental excercises I need. I was planning on taking Kyokushin Karate (full-contact) and learning this there, but unfortunately the sensei's a fraud so I'm forced to take Goju-Ryu (non-contact). I want to spar with my friends but..yeh, not many will o_-

Get your girlfriend some gloves and shin guards and let her go after you. Mine likes this so much she wants to take Muay Thai lessons, of course I tried to convince her otherwise. ;)

LMAO - I let a girl at church do that to me before LOL. She's like..are you sure..I'm gonna kick you my hardest - didn't feel a thing ROFL. My buddies will jump at an oppurtunity to beat at me, maybe I should let them lmao.

Taking shots to body is easy-lay on the floor, crunch up, have someone straddle you and punch you in the gut and ribs. Thats 1 rep (4 punches when up).

Legs...shin pads ad have them kick you lightly and build up

Head-thats just obvious....don't let your head be there

I always punch my gut when I do crunches. It's about 2-300 punches so my stomach is usually red after. I usually do crunches 5 times a week so I doubt I could get somebody to aid me in doing that too often.

You can work this stuff into your bodyweight exercises as well, do some burpees and get kicked when you're down... that's a workout.
