Tabata Protocol!!

Just started working out using this method (if you would call it that) and was just curious about others who have done it and what they thought of it....

I think most of the tabata methods of training ive ever read about are to soft, to really push anyone who has very good conditioning to a new level of conditioning. High Intensity Intervull training is a better way to go. its about the same consept but (from my understanding of tabata) your not set to a short time of 100% work and so can do like 100% work for like 40 seconds then 50% for 20 seconds and repete. B carfull what you take in on these studies make shure you read up on this stuff if you are trying to be condition for a sport. IMO the best workout is one that makes you feel like you can't do any more at the end of it. Thats the only way Ive EVER pushed my cardio to the next level, a intense regimin of aerobic and anarobic conditioning, and Ive been at it for 15+ years.

I dont think Im understanding you correctly. Tabata is progressive so you should NEVER be at a point at the end of the workout where you feel like its "soft". Tabata is grueling if its done correctly and its one of the best forms of conditioning you can do IMO.

Cosign times 100%. If you aren't tired, you have NOT correctly applied the principles of the Tabata Protocol.
