tabata burpees...?

For those of you who have done these.. about how many burpees do you get in each 20 sec round of work?

I'm also talking about the burpee with the full jump just to clarify.

thanks

10 is only like the first 2, maybe 3 intervals if im lucky. do alot of burpees and youll learn to minimize wasted time and you can haul ass.....they never get easy though

I find that doing burpees Tabata-style, while a good workout, is less than optimal, simply because I find myself hanging for too long in the air to squeeze in a good number in 20 seconds. I usually end up doing 8 or 9 per cycle.

Instead, I do 30 seconds of burpees alternated with 30 seconds of jumprope. 2 minutes on, anywhere between 30 seconds to a minute of rest in between (depending on your conditioning).

I do 8 sets of burpees, 30 seconds for each set. I usually get 10 to 12 reps in. Is that bad?

i think i saw ross enamait say in an article that for 30 seconds between 10 and 15 is the norm. so with proportions, for 20sec you can figure between 6 and 10.
