suggestions/drills
I'm sure most of you have heard of BOB the free standing punching dummy. I was wondering if anyone has any good workouts to do with this. I usually do a drill I did in a muay thai class once. I'm not sure what its called or anything but it goes like this:
1 right kick -- 1 "insert some exercise"(I usually do burpees, pushups or squats) -- 1 left kick -- 1 ""
2 right kicks -- 2 "" -- 2 left kicks -- 2 ""
3 right kicks -- 3 "" -- 3 left kicks -- 3 ""
4 right kicks -- 4 "" -- 4 left kicks -- 4 ""
5 right kicks -- 5 "" -- 5 left kicks -- 5 ""
6 right kicks -- 6 "" -- 6 left kicks -- 6 ""
7 right kicks -- 7 "" -- 7 left kicks -- 7 ""
8 right kicks -- 8 "" -- 8 left kicks -- 8 ""
9 right kicks -- 9 "" -- 9 left kicks -- 9 ""
10 right kicks -- 10 "" -- 10 left kicks -- 10 ""
Any suggestions on other drills I could do with BOB?
BTW- I debated on if I should post this here or in the standup forum, but It doesn't really focus on striking technique, just conditioning that uses strikes and other forms of exercises; so if this is in the wrong place...sorry.
