Stretching When Sore?

I love being sore the next day after a good workout, but I was wondering if it's good to stretch the sore muscles? For instance, if I train chest should I be stretching it often and for however many days I'm sore? Can I do long, intense stretches without having to worry about a muscle tear?

Noticeably sore, but nothing to painful. I diet pretty good too and drink water regularly.

i stretch at least twice a day. best way to avoid injury. when sore ur muscles are fatigued and rebuilding strecthing helps get the blood flowing through that muscle making recovery much easier. also being flexible will make life so much easier for training in the future.

You da man!

Light stretching will help you recover. Avoid intense stretching, because you're actually fatigue...ing (lol) the muscles. And remember not to exercise those muscles too intensly either. They are weak and more prone to injury. HOLLA!

Definately lighter stretching will help recovery, NOT ISOMETRIC stretching...
