Static vs. Dynamic Stretching?
I've honestly never heard of dynamic stretching until now and have been using static stretches since they were introduced to me in park league football. According to internet articles, though, static=bad and dynamic=good. Since most of my "research" comes from Wikipedia, can someone explain or lead me to a credible article that proves this statement?

They're both great.
I think it's best to do dynamic stretches and warm ups before you workout, and then after you're done, do static stretches.
I've been doing that for years now and more and more people have been doing that. I started doing that after reading an article about it, can't remember exactly what the details were
You could put those terms in an internet search and find tons of articles on both forms of stretching.

FWIW, the book "stretching scientifically" recommends dynamic stretching after warm-up but pre-workout, and static stretching post-workout.

static stretches weakens your muscles and it takes about 3 or 4 hours to recover...but its great for after excercise...
dynamics stretches after a warm up prep your muscles for excercise.... therefore static stretches should come after exercise...
best warm ups are plyometrics....
