Spinning and heart rate

Last Teusday I did Spinning ( edit: Indoor cycling ) for 45 minutes, most of the time I was above 80% of my max heart rate. So it was anearobicly.

I always thought that anearobicly was short and explosive like sprinting. But this was 45 minutes almost all of the time above 80% of my max heart rate.

Another question does spinning ( edit: Indoor cycling ) also train aerobic endurance, becuase it's 45 minutes?

Thanks in advance.

Haha. Spinning drills with sprints actually help you get used to getting rocked and help with recovery time..

Aerobic and anaerobic doesn´t have that much to do with heart rate as with the muscels. It will certainly improve your aerobic endurance.

True, the heart heart is just the easiest way for the average guy to dial in their training as there really isn't an on the spot way without equipment to tell if your muscle are using oxygen or not.

Anerobic activity can train aerobic conditioning aswell, easiest example is the tabata study

fedor does spinninng exercises...it is to replicate the sensation of being dizzy..like when you get tagged and your vestibular-cochlear nuclei in the brain stem cant work and your balance and orientation in space and time has tripped out...otherwise known as a KO...

I said spinning but that's not used in English. I mean Indoor cycling.

The word Spinning is used in my country for indoor cycling.
