Hard as hell! First time doing it and I can't feel my legs. How do i build that endurance for my legs. I want to transition into it smoothly.

Nothing to do with strength and power, Sonny can deal with you.
P.S. Don't forget your spandex

Well it did have to do with power simply because my legs were engaged the entire time. Don't power and endurance go hand-in-hand?

How do you stand it?
I do cycling as a training measure, can't stand bicyclists, but it is good exercise.
Spinning classes are mindless endeavors. Plus too most people don't know that is you don't take the time to set that thing up for yourself, Right seat height, foot placement on pedals, etc etc, you can walk away with bad ligiments.
Why get a decent road bicycle and start humping it? Go ride distances with hills, you'll get strong legs and you won't get that pounbded feeling from running!

Not sure what is up with the spinnng classes hate.... They can be very effective especially if you have a good instructor. At our local Y, several guys from the local road club that I race with take turns leading classes including a couple of really good CAT 2 riders. To answer your question, keep training and pay attention to resistance. Decrease resistance and increase your cadence when you start feeling lactic acid build up in your legs. Generally speaking if your heart rate is high and breathing is difficult, reduce your cadence. The best training that I have found to increase your anaerobic capacity is HIIT, but I do this on a stationary bike rather than on a spinning class bike.
If you are talking about sore legs after the class or the next day, get on the bike and spin for 10 minutes at an easy pace, that will likely reduce the pain. Like any exercise, your body will adapt to the stress after a period of time. When that happens, turn it up a notch.
