Well, probably not done by ancient spartans, but it was done by Gerard Butler as part of his training for
300.
It's a new one to me, so I thought I'd post it up. Found it in an interview in Men's Health. Doesn't give much on the training, but the interview did lead me to believe Butler is seriously ADHD.
Floor Wipes (Video Here)
Lie on the floor holding a 135lb bar straight overhead. Keeping your legs straight, touch your feet to one plate, then lower to the center, and then raise again and touch the other plate. That's one rep.
These sound interesting, and I'll have to try them out.
