so hard to gain weight when doing MMA!!!

Ok i have this little HUGE problem.... i have such a hard time gaining weight with all the martial arts i'm doing...

i do BJJ twice a week, Vee-jitsu twice a week, Muay Thai once a week, and Kickboxing once a week. Then i have a conditioning clas stwice a week, and i put myself through my own conditiong workout about two more times a week. Then i do weight lifting about 3 times a week.. it used to be about 5 times a week but with all that stuff i mentioned above, i have a hard time fitting it in.

I'm eating around 2800-3300 calories perday.... almost no fats, low sugars, about 170 grms of protein and the rest carbs... i'mletting myself have the carbs because i need to gain weight and i burn so much off with all that exercise...

i supplement well too.. no steroids but i am taking testosterone boosters, creatine, and amino acids, not to mention the weightgainer that is included in the calories i mentioned above....

i weigh 150 lbs at 16% body fat. I want to weigh 155 lbs at 8% body fat.... what do i need to do to get there???

Sorry buddy you aren't going to lose 24 lbs of fat and gain 16lbs of muscle doing this kind of training. You can lose most of the fat, but to gain muscle you are doing WAAAAAY too much cardio.

Your diet is also preventing you from losing fat I suspect. Your protein should be higher to keep your insulin low(right now you only have 22% protein in your diet). Try to concentrate on one thing first(lose fat or gain muscle). Unless you are using illegal substances it's virtually impossible to lose fat and gain muscle unless you are a fat piece of shit that hasn't done excersize in years.

To rid of the fat, it helps to keep the protein high (around 40-50% of total cals). This keeps your insulin low which helps your fat cells to release fatty acids. Next, you need to drop all starchy items. Oat meal is pretty much the exception. Basically you should be eating vegetables, meats(fish, chicken, red meat), and good fats. When I cut weight I just make sure to cut out the starches and I don't even worry about the fat in the steaks and salad dressings(of course chicken breast is better). Of course this will also make you weaker in training, but it's for a purpose. Once you lost the weight you bump the carbs back up.

Eat more... Basically... Drop the weight gainer cause 10-to-1 that's all simple carbs, and u don't need those... i'm guessing u work out in the evenings, so try this:
early mornings: take a whey protein shake and some complex carbs (whole wheat bread with apple sirup or something, yoghurt with muesli does the trick too)
eat every two hours during the day
moderate warm meal
have a whey shake with some dextrose sugar (30 gr. whey, 60 gr dextrose) an hour before u work out
after ur workout have some yoghurt with muesli again
have a whey shake before bed

in total u should be having about 9 (!!!) meals a day, for a total of 3800 kcal a day, 55% carbs, 30% protein and 15% fat...

check out www.bodybuilding.com for more indepth stuff, click supersite, and well, u'll figure out the rest... this got me up from being 63 kg (140 punds) at 18% to 170 at 9% in two years time...
