Sleep Requirements
How much sleep are you guys getting per night, and do you find that what you are getting is sufficient to facilitate your training regiment?
I usually try to get around 7 hours per night through the work week, and about 8 hours per night on the weekends. This is based on my existing training regime of 5 days per week for about 1.5 hours per session. I never gas during a workout so I assume it is enough.
I do find that I get a little tired usually around mid afternoon in my office though and could easily nod off for a siesta.
If I try to sleep more than 8 hours on a weekend, I end up with a headache for the rest of the day.

Well, sleep requirements are individual to each person. I get about 8-10 hours a night to feel good, but I believe Ross Enamait has said that he gets about 5.

I get around 6-7 hours a night on weekdays, but I usually take a 2-3 hour nap during the day.
8-10 on the weekends.

If I don't get at least 7 I'm absolutely useless, but if I get 8-9+, I'm fuckin King Leonidas...
I usually get about 7, give or take. You need as much as you can get, developing a pattern is key. If you sleep at different times for different intervals your body will get pissed at you. At least thats how mine works...

Same here. I've been trying to get to bed earlier but sometimes I'll wake up after like an hour and not be able to sleep the rest of the night.
Then there are nights I'll come home exhausted, plan a 30 minute nap before I go work out and end up sleeping until I have to get up for work.

^^^I have no doubts. I don't have any, but my friends that have young ones look like zombies.
I shoot for 8, but I usually end up with around 7. If I get only 6, I feel like crap. I'm getting to the point where I can't sleep longer than 9 hours at the most. Boo aging.
I work shiftwork, so my sleep gets brutally screwed up, and does affect my recovery and training.

When I get 6 hours, I feel lucky.
Just as a warning to you without kids - if you think you know what tired is, you have no idea.
I know why sleep depravation is an effective interrogation technique.
