BCAA Question

Im changing the name / question of this thread so I dont have to make another. Instead of eating a meal before working out, could I pop BCaa's to try and burn more calories? Or does that just not work?

A sauna suit will do nothing but make you sweat more and lose water weight.

theoretically a sauna suit should burn more calories, but at the detriment of performance and health. I mean, the added difficulty your body experiences trying to regulate heat while wearing one would cause it to burn more Calories, but not by much. They are a tool to cut water weight pre-weigh-in, that's it really.

For the extra energy your body uses trying to regulate your body temp. You are better off just putting that extra energy to work by doing actual work.

that was the underlying point of my post. I forget sometimes messages like this get overlooked if they're too subtle

Your body in it's attempts to regulate body heat will burn some calories, but not enough to matter.

well I'm sure if you do it long enough, your body will end up going into emergency mode (sort of like when you run in the morning on an empty stomach) and it will be harder to burn fat, since your body is trying to survive. It's not worth it IMHO. Just run faster, bitch.

I thought running on an empty stomach in the morning was the best way?
