same day weigh ins

I have a fight in about 5 weeks semi-pro rules.

I agreed to fight at 74 kg because i thought I was only 75, but I've put on 4 kg of muscle and now weigh 79. now i havnt got hardly any fat on me and I'm 6 foot 2ish so i dont want to be drained for the fight.

The main problem is there is same day weigh ins, so I dont know what I should do for this fight. any ideas??

BTW How many pounds are in a kg???

Well get dieting if you want to make the weight. Search for the 7 Habits and start running more.

The problem is though i havnt really got any fat. all the weight I've put on has been muscle. and on a 6 foot 2 frame I cant really afford to lose any more muscle.

Sweat off the weight by running and biking. Try running laps while dressed in garbage bags a few days before weigh in and then fill up on alot of water. You do not want to do much to your diet really.

Excuse me young man? This is not bad advice at all, maybe not what you are used to in your style but it works so please refrain from shooting down other peoples suggestion because it does not follow your specific methods of training.

I have been cutting weight since before you were born so shut the fuck up and go back to being the dungeon master
Excuse me my son this is for serious MMA discussion not petty kindergarten fits, it appeard you mixed the two up well thats ok because we should all be on the same page now. I have cut weight many times and this has worked for me and many others at my school and personally I have not lost using this method and I spent the next 2 days after cutting the weight regaining my energy and I felt more energetic then ever.
