the treadmill is not running, my theory is this, that when your outside your pushing yourself where you want to go, on the treadmill its a converyor belt that moves and all your simply doing is lifting your legs and that belt pushed your leg back, it's a completely different thing and running for half an hour on a treadmill is not to even be compared to running outside

Yeah, first of all running on a tread mill can be boring as all fuck. Secondly, the floor moves for you on a tread mill where as when you run on good ol' mother earth you are putting forth the effort to move. Finally, there's nothing like fresh air and an attainable goal to shoot for, ie, to the safeway and back.

Running on a treadmill is easier, but I have a hard time getting into a good rythm. Don't know why. If you want to TRY to make the human-hamster wheel harder, adjust the incline up to simulate running uphill. It still isn't the same but its closer. The advantage of treadmills is that they aren't as hard on your joints as concrete or asphalt.
Since you said your problem is that the treadmill is HARDER than roadwork....I'm at a loss for words. You would be the first person I've ever heard say that. How's your form? Some people let their form go to shit on a treadmill because it does half the work for you. If it ain't your form....I'm outta ideas. Good luck

well if ur workin specifically aerobic , i find treadmill much better becuz the pace/gradient is constant so u can keep a constant heart rate.
on topic , maybe ur runnin faster on the treadmill than u do on the road?

I feel just the opposite I can go forever on a treadmill but running outside I get winded after a few minutes
