Ross' stuff will get you in great shape and very mentally tough. Ross is also a great guy and will answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend his books. I personally have his High Intensity Conditioning and Infinite Intensity Books.

Buy them. I've never heard a negative thing about them. I own both and the DVD. Buy infinite intensity, never gymless, then the DVD, in that order IMO.

I have Infinite Intensity and it has been extremely useful in my own program as well as in designing strength and conditioning routines for my training clients.

And this is coming from someone with a CSCS, MS in Ex Sci, 30 years of weightlifting, powerlifting and sports conditioning experience and 16 years as a professional trainer.
