Rickson Gracie's unorthadox workouts

well i dont really know if these are actually workout routines rickson use to do on a daily basis, but i was wondering about it while i was doing mines. i know most of you here on sherdog have seen various clips of rickson doing his weird yet affective workouts, the ones where hes doing this weird arm motion and another 1 on where he caves in his stomach repeadidly, just a few of his examples and im sure there are more. i was just wondering if any of you guys consider those exersizes useful and effective. if you guys would have any knowledge on these workouts of rickson's please share as i would find em very interesting 8]

If you actually checked out the sight they mention hatha-yoga as one of the influences.

stomach vaccumes are good for you, why not do them?
