Recommend a Treadmill

I figured I'd be better off posting this here than in the gear forum. I know if I want advise on strength gear, I'd much rather take it from the S+P forum than the gear forum, so I figured the same would apply. Anyhow, I'm looking for any recommendations for a treadmill in the $500 range. We used to have a treadmill in the $1200 range that was a Nordic Track, but it is broken. It's over 8 years old, so we can't really justify a repair that costs in the hundreds because we've been told other things will need replaced in the long run. Any ideas? What I like about the one we had is that it was wider than normal. I probably won't be using it for sprints, but just for LSD.

I bought a Proform-XP for $650 and I love it. It has an Ipod plug and fan. Plus it has 16 different workouts.

New Balance 1200

Great machine

EDIT: It's a thousand dollars...but it's worth the money, the 500 dollar ones aren't very strong

This is what I feared. It looks like we may be waiting until next winter then. Everything I've seen for $500 seemed somewhat cheap. I was hoping some conditioning experts knew of a diamond in the rough.

you can spend roughtly $90 on a skywalker
and another $300 at walmart on a Elipticle machine. I like that combination of machines better.
