Ah, so you can do burpees!! Good, that really is a such a great exercise to have. NOT being able to do it sucks more than actually doing them. Does that make sense? I'm so tired.

How many did you do, and what was the other stuff? How long did you go for?

some additional exercise ideas:

Medicine Ball Pushups (3 way)
Incline pushups (feet on bed)
Hindu Squats
Chins (if you have a bar)
Mountain climbers (the Bas way-- lift your head on every up stroke)
Jumping Squats (maybe quieter the burpees?)

Ian pointed it out, but stretching followed by intense shadow boxing/kicks will get the blood pumping.

2 min on, 1 min off x 6. Off should be bouncing - shaking it out, not standing still

Just a few (like 1x20 maybe) and then some cartwheels and gymnastic-type stuff outside, which I wouldn't normally be able to do but my schedule is different on Wednesdays.

Going for better 100 Burpee challenge time Friday.

Thursday
Quick warm-up, then:
30 twisting mountain climbers
2x10 (one set each direction) those things where you rotate the weight around your shoulders. Good for me because I despise should work other than presses, so I probably needed this.
Repeat MCs and shoulder things.
Hit a few tricep push-ups
One more set of MCs.

Monday
50 Twisitng Mountain Climbers
2:00 Shadow boxing
A few push ups.
50 V-ups with 6lb medicine ball

A week in review:
1. I am NOT "burned out" from doing this stuff.
2. As you can see by my new PRs, my maximal strength has NOT suffered at all from the additional volume.
3. It makes me feel like I've "earned" my oats in the morning if I get a little sweat going, and those who read Berardi will know why.
4. This is something I am DEFINATELY going to keep doing.

Thanks for the update, Xtrainer.

Question: Is this something you're doing "right outa bed", as in, throw the sheets off and start banging out BW squats? Or do you let yourself wake up, grab a coffee or whatever, then do your morning GPP?
