3 Days into it and I already am feeling a lot more energetic during the day. I used the idea of putting a bunch of quick GPPs on index cards and drawing one at random as soon as I get up. I admit that I put back the one with a bunch of burpees this morning and drew another since I knew that in an hour or so I'd be doing the Magic 50 for my regular workout.

Thanks again for starting this thread XTrainer. I'm thinking about starting a log sometime soon, but I'm still rehabbing a rotator cuff surgery, so my workouts are kinda goofy sometimes.

Wow 14 pages and no mention of Tabata?

4 minutes of Tabata burpees or thrusters is a pretty short but effective workout.

I usually do Tabata's at the end of my regular workout. They kick my butt pretty good, and the Xtrainer Morning GPP as I understand it, is just to get the heart pumping a little and break a sweat. Not a balls to the wall, gasping and wheezing true workout.

I can't believe how many times i;ve seen this thread and never fully read it... Just sat here and read the lot and it's definitely given me some ideas, thanks xtrainer!

I'm going to do it tabata style to begin with.

5-6 exercises, 10-12 rounds = 5-6 minutes

I like the idea of the workout cards, thanks whoever suggested that.

Did it this morning, felt so thirsty and needed a dump first to lighten the load a little!

I did the following:

press up ladder 10-1
ATG squat ladder 10-1
Burpee ladder, 1-10

so 10 press ups, 10 squats, 1 burpee
9 press ups, 9 squats, 2 burpees etc

The last set of burpees was hard! Took me about 8 minutes in total.

I know it's only day one but i've felt good about myself since getting up at 8. Definitely gonna keep this up.

Another enrollie in the Xtrainer Morning GPP plan.

Turn on the coffee maker and hit the deck. I'm keeping it short until it more ingrained as part of my routine.
