i can do lots of pushups and situps, the problem is doing them within a minute, when i do pushups regularly it takes me one second to go donw and one up, = 2 seconds for one pushup, so i can only get around 30 pushups, i have to work on getting faster, espicially with situps

I'm 39 and I did 32 push-ups, but it was after 100 burpees and 1000 heavy rope jumps. I'll try it again fresh and if I don't get 44 I'll do it til I do.

My question is this: I usually do clapping push-ups and I'm up to sets of 20, 18, 16, 15. Will I get more push-ups per minute doing clapping P-Us more frequently, or doing regular P-Us more frequently?

I'm going to suck at the sit-ups but I'll have a go tomorrow.

I haven't done more than 25 at once since my shoulder injury a couple years ago. I'll try this out and see how my shoulder does. I'm at work till five, so my results will be posted after.
