Plyo for Endurance

Is it a smart thing to do?

How effective is it?

the goal of plyos is for fast twitch speed production. though sprints are plyometric.... id say stick with burpees and sprints for endurance and do plyos seperate in smaller amounts for speed.

Wouldn't recommend doing plyos for endurance. Plyometric exercises should be done for low reps and full intensity, which isn't generally conducive to developing endurance.

The closest compromise that I can think of would be high intensity interval training, but even then, the exercises you do wouldn't be strictly plyometric.

They are working different energy systems and different muscle fibres.

If you can do high rep with anything you think is a plyometric drill...your doing something wrong
